"Couldn’t have picked a worse time for activation issues"
I tried getting my service activated online, and of course it kept failing right when I actually needed it to work. Support just passed me around from one person to another, and after hours of waiting, I still had no service. Frustrating way to start as a new customer, especially with the timing being so bad...

"Contract details could’ve been explained better"
I signed up with Freedom Mobile thinking I had a good idea of what I was agreeing to, but once everything was set up, I realized the contract details weren’t as clear as I thought.

Some of the fees and conditions only really clicked after I got my bill, which was frustrating because, okay maybe it was in the fine print somewhere, but it definitely wasn’t explained in a simple, upfront way when I joined.

The actual service has been fine, no major complaints there, but the whole contract part felt rushed and a bit confusing, like they just wanted to get through it and move on. I really wish they’d slow down and explain things better before people sign.

"I’ve been with Freedom for a while..."
I’ve been with Freedom for a while now, and the data speeds have been disappointing. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect everywhere, but I did expect it to be at least decent for everyday use. Even when I have full bars, websites can take ages to load and videos buffer way too often. It gets even worse inside buildings or when I’m on the train. Some days it genuinely feels like I’m using old 3G again. If you rely on mobile data a lot, I’m not sure it’s really worth it.

The plans have gotten way too expensive lately. I keep looking at the options hoping there’s a reasonable choice, but it kind of feels like I’m trapped paying more than I want just to keep using the service.

"Roaming was frustrating and unclear"
I paid for roaming before traveling, but once I was abroad it barely worked and I kept getting errors. I was expecting clearer instructions on how to set it up or troubleshoot it, but there wasn’t much guidance. Frustrating experience overall.

I went into the store just trying to get some clarity about my plan, but the whole visit was disappointing. I waited a long time, and when someone finally helped me, the answers felt rushed and didn’t really clear anything up. What made it worse was that they basically pointed me back to customer support, while support had already told me to go into the store. It felt like I was stuck in a support loop with nobody actually taking ownership. I left more confused than when I walked in, i don’t see myself going back.

"Customer service was frustrating"
I spent around 30 to 40 minutes waiting on chat, and when someone finally replied, they just kept repeating the same answer over and over. Nothing actually got fixed, so it felt like I basically wasted close to an hour for no reason.

"I’ve been with Freedom Mobile for a..."
I’ve been with Freedom Mobile for a bit, the billing has been the most frustrating part for me. When I signed up, I was told one price, but the amount that shows up on my bill keeps being different.

Now I feel like I have to go through the bill every single month because there’s usually some random charge, or a discount that’s suddenly missing. I’ve contacted support a few times, and they’ll say it’s going to be fixed, but then the next bill comes and it’s the same kind of issue again.

I’m not trying to avoid paying what I owe. I just want the bill to match what I agreed to without having to chase someone every month. It gets tiring feeling like I have to babysit my phone bill.

"Felt like a bait and switch trying to cancel"
Cancelling with Freedom Mobile was way more frustrating than I expected. Signing up felt easy enough, but once I wanted to leave, it was a totally different story. I kept getting bounced around by support and everyone seemed to tell me something different. It really gave me that bait and switch feeling, like they make it simple to get in but a pain to get out. Even after I asked to cancel, I still had to keep following up to make sure it actually went through. Super annoying experience and I wouldn’t recommend them if you think you might ever need to cancel...

"Freedom Mobile keeps letting me down"
I’m fed up with Freedom Mobile at this point. My calls drop out of nowhere, and the data slows to a crawl even when my phone shows bars. It’s not like I’m out in the middle of nowhere either, this happens in regular city areas too. Feels like they’re just not keeping their network stable enough, which is frustrating when I’m paying for a phone service I actually need to rely on

"Porting my number turned into a whole thing"
I thought moving my number over would be one of those quick, boring tasks you do while drinking coffee, but nope. It dragged on way longer than I expected. At one point I was just refreshing my phone, wondering if it was working, then realizing I’d probably missed calls during the day. Support did reply eventually, but it felt slow when I was stuck without a fully working number. Not the end of the world, but definitely a frustrating start...

"Calls seem to cut out like clockwork"
I keep having calls drop or get all choppy, and at this point I just assume it’s going to happen whenever I’m in the middle of a conversation. Some days it feels like there’s a pattern to it, especially during regular call times, but either way it’s really frustrating.

"Bad coverage almost everywhere I go"
I’ve had a rough time with Freedom Mobile, honestly. I keep losing signal in places where I’d expect my phone to work just fine — around town, in regular areas, nothing remote or anything. Calls drop, data slows down like crazy, and sometimes pages just don’t load at all. It is cheaper, sure, but... if my phone barely works when I actually need it, it doesn’t really feel worth it.

"So much for phone shopping"
I went on freedommobile.ca thinking I’d browse some phones and maybe actually find something I liked. Wild idea, apparently. The selection was thin, and a bunch of the models I was hoping to see weren’t there at all. The few decent options they did have felt limited, so I ended up checking other carriers instead. Super convenient, in the most inconvenient way.

"Promo discount never showed up"
Signed up after seeing a promo online, but the discount never showed on my bill. Contacted support and kept getting told to wait for the next bill, but nothing changed. Feels like they just use those offers to get people in. Really frustrating and not worth the hassle

"Not really worth it these days"
I used to think the cheap plan was a decent deal, but the service has gotten frustrating enough that it doesn’t feel worth it anymore. I was trying to use it the other night while making pasta, and it kept giving me issues at the worst time. The price looks good at first, but if the service is annoying to deal with, it kind of cancels out the savings

"International calling has been such a hassle"
I tried calling my family overseas, and it’s been way more effort than it should be. The calls either drop in the middle or don’t connect at all, but somehow I’m still getting charged like everything worked perfectly. I contacted support and all they told me was to restart my phone, which of course didn’t fix anything. I don’t want to keep wasting time troubleshooting just to make a simple call. Really frustrating and not worth it.
